Experience Through The Years

Founded in 1966, Transpacific Management Service has grown alongside the communities of Southern California, always taking the lead in the progress of community living. Our strength stems from involved leadership, starting with our founders Marshall Fant and William Sasser. Both are part of a group of visionaries who established the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Their efforts helped heighten the professional and ethical standards of the community association industry through a self-regulating body. Because Transpacific Management Service combines forward-thinking leadership with advanced financial and customer service systems, we provide a customer-focused experience for a variety of clients with a variety of needs. Accomplishments of our staff and our history include:

  • First community association management firm in Orange County
  • Representation of over 200 communities and 30,000 homeowners in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino and San Diego Counties, and growing
  • Community association management for small projects up to large, master-planned developments
  • Chairmanship of CACM by company president, William Sasser
  • Faculty appointment of company chairman Marshall Fant at Cal State Long Beach where he taught land development and project management
  • One of only a select few companies in the state to receive the Certified Management Firm designation from CACM
  • Certified Community Association Manager designation and continuing education for all TMS community managers and company leadership
  • Active staff involvement in key industry organizations: CACM, Community Association Institute (CAI), and the Building Industry Association (BIA)
  • Regular public speaking engagements on topics concerning community association living and the industry at-large by the company executives and managers
  • Active leadership on CACM's Board of Directors since 1990

Through our tenure in the community association industry and through independent study, Transpacific Management Service believes achieving a true sense of community and harmony among homeowners and neighbors is becoming increasingly harder to realize. This trend is partly due to the increasing population in Southern California, the faster-paced society in which Californians now live and the cultural diversity that increasingly defines the community at-large. Our goal is to help our homeowners communicate better and facilitate mutual understanding, which will cultivate strong communities. Although this is uncharted territory in the industry, Transpacific Management Service feels it is vitally important to ensure quality of community association life.
